About the role

rag & bone is currently looking for an Associate Product Manager to support in the development and production of our Denim apparel. We are looking for a highly organized individual with excellent communication and follow up skills to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Development: Work cross functionally with Design, Tech, and Merch Partners to launch styles into development
  • Build styles and detailed BOM's in internal style management system
  • Build/send seasonal factory development logs with clear direction for factories to proceed with sampling
  • Ensure that all garment details are organized and communicated to factories for accurate costing
  • Continually review allocation and ensure department and vendor sourcing strategy is met
  • Facilitate the shipment of all sample materials and wash standards (proto-SMS)
  • Partner with vendors and TD to ensure deadlines are met for protos and SMS
  • Maintain organization of all proto and SMS samples per season
  • Communicate progress/ETA's for all samples cross functionally
  • Maintain BOM's throughout development process
  • Review, facilitate and track pre-market SMS alterations
  • Build strong cross functional relationships with Design, Merchandising, Tech Design, and factories
  • Communicate weekly milestone deadlines to cross functional teams
  • Production: Organize and schedule bulk BOM meeting with tech design, design, and merchandising & ensure all aspects of bulk BOMs are accurate before sending to factories
  • Closely monitor production calendar and status, including shipment of PPS, ECOM & PR samples, TOP samples, and bulk shipments
  • Work with merchandising, sales, company planning to review and confirm final buys
  • Issue and maintain bulk POs
  • Organize and schedule wash reviews throughout approval process
  • Partner with design to ensure wash deck is updated with most recent comments and communicate to vendors
  • Maintain organization of all wash standards/submits per season
  • Communicate daily with vendors to confirm bulk x-factory dates, sample timing, and troubleshoot potential issues
  • Maintain seasonal master WIP throughout production
  • Develop understanding of quality standards throughout production process and work with factories to improve issues
  • Review and organize external audit reports as submitted and make comments to vendors
  • Troubleshoot any production issues cross functionally to find a solution

Requirements

  • Highly organized
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work closely with cross functional partners
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2–3 years' experience in a related field (denim experience is a PLUS)

Pay

The target salary for this role is between $75,000 and $80,000 based on candidates' experience and expectations.

Schedule

Our in-office policy is in office, 4 days a week.
