Production Associate - Soil Sort

Responsibilities

• Sort healthcare linen placed on a continuously moving conveyor belt, placing soiled items into the appropriate carts.
• Perform tasks assigned by the supervisor and follow plant management direction within the scope of responsibilities.
• Adhere to quality standards and inspect linens to ensure they meet company specifications.
• Package products according to company standards and process special wash requests correctly.
• Comply with strict OSHA standards, operating all equipment safely and following Lock‑out Tag‑out policies.
• Decontaminate the work area after each shift and shut off equipment when not in use.
• Follow the ImageFIRST Way guidelines.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills (typically obtained through a high school diploma or equivalent).
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Willingness and ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
• Physical ability to work in normal to hot manufacturing conditions and frequently lift materials up to 30 pounds.
• Use of required safety equipment (eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, hard hats); loose‑fitting clothing and jewelry are not permitted.
