Production Associate - shift 8AM-8PM.

About the role

Performs any combination of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices as well as setting up, operating, performing maintenance on and troubleshooting equipment. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. Works within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices.
• Set up, operate, perform maintenance on, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Conduct quality inspections on the processing line according to quality specifications.
• Work within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods, adhering to quality guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Zero to one year of manufacturing assembly experience.
• 20/30 vision with or without corrective lenses, or successful completion of a color vision exam.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; occasional lifting/moving of at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
• Steel toe shoes required.
• Eye exam required contingent upon hire.
• No drug screening required; candidate may start while background checks are in process.

Skills

• Effective communication skills understandable to co‑workers and Team Lead/Supervisor.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English.
