Production Associate Shape

Multiple openings available across shifts:

• Evening shift: four-day work week, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM (Shape department)
• Evening shift: four-day work week, 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM (CNC)
• Day shift: one opening, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (Cutting lines)

Starting pay: $16.50 and up.

About the role

Assist with production, inspection, packaging of product, and cleanup of scrap material.

Responsibilities

• Report to Manager at shift start for direction for the day.
• Demonstrate general understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements, and departmental procedures.
• Inspect and package parts according to specification pages and record required information on in-process sheets.
• Bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble, and/or label materials per specific production instructions.
• Operate side-wrappers and pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate Pre-breakers / Re-Grinding equipment to recycle EPS.
• Perform any other assigned functions and responsibilities.
• Complete required safety and Quality System Awareness training.
• Be verified by supervisor and signed off on job-specific procedures within 2 months of hire.
• Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) preferred.
• Ability to use simple math, count, and use basic hand-held measuring tools.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.

Physical demands

• Light to moderate physical effort including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, and reaching both forward and above head level.
• Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to safely operate assigned machinery.
• Must tolerate temperature changes for the entire shift.
