Production Associate - Second Shift

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Production Associate for our Reno/Stead, NV facility.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm
• Occasional overtime may be required

Responsibilities

• Report to Manager at shift start for direction for the day
• General understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements, and departmental procedures
• Inspect and package parts according to specification pages and record required information on in-process sheets
• Bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble, and/or label materials per specific production instructions
• Operate side-wrappers and pallet jacks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Operate Pre-breakers / Re-Grinding equipment to recycle EPS
• Perform any other assigned functions and responsibilities
• Must be trained and familiar with general safety and Quality System Awareness
• Must be verified by supervisor and signed off on procedures needed to fulfill job requirements within 2 months of hire
• Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is required

Requirements

• Fluent in English (written and spoken), preferred
• Ability to use simple math, count, and use basic hand-held measuring tools
• Prior experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment preferred
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Physical Demands

• Moderate to heavy physical effort required, including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders
• Grasping, fine and coarse manipulation, reaching both forward and above head level
• Tolerant of temperature changes for the entire shift
