Production Associate - Product Handler - 1st shift

About the role

Perform a variety of duties related to the processing of poultry, including working with live or raw chicken. The position involves handling, processing, deboning, cutting, packing, weighing, moving, inspecting, and other tasks as directed by supervision.

Responsibilities

• Handle and process chicken products according to safety, quality, and speed standards.
• Debone, cut, pack, weigh, and move poultry items.
• Inspect products for quality and compliance.
• Adapt to periodic changes in department assignments based on production and staffing needs.
• Work in various environmental conditions—including hot, cold, wet, and noisy settings.
• Operate safely around industrial equipment.
• Stand for several hours and lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds.
• Perform repetitive motions using arms, wrists, and hands.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by supervision as needed.

Requirements

• Willingness and ability to work in multiple departments and positions as needed.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle up to 40 pounds.
• Previous poultry production experience or experience in a food manufacturing environment (preferred).
