Production Associate - 1st Shift

About the role

Join Delta Faucet as a Production Member & Machine Operator in our shift operations at the Delta-Lapeer facility, where we manufacture plastic bath tubs, shower bases, and coordinating wall units. See your work on store shelves, contributing to products in high demand.

Responsibilities

• Lift, carry, and place parts on trim fixture.
• Use hand tools to smooth rough edges.
• Make pass/fail quality decisions based on quality standards.
• Prep boxes with labels and instructions.
• Lift, carry, and place finished parts on the box.
• Close and staple the box using an air-powered staple gun.
• Stack completed boxes on the pallet and prep for stretch wrap.
• Follow standardized work to meet production and quality expectations.
• Participate in a team environment with 2–5 team members in the area.

Requirements

• Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 20 lbs.
• Occasionally work with pushing weights of up to 40 lbs.
• Use hands to manipulate and operate hand tools and power tools.
• Able to bend, reach, twist, and carry above shoulder/below waist level.
• Able to stand and walk for periods of up to 8 hours, with breaks.
• Able to visually inspect parts for defects.

Pay

Hiring range: $17.66 – $19.98 USD per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.
