Production Associate (Night Shift)

Job Responsibilities

• Handle assignments in a repetitive and/or sequential order for completing tasks assigned
• Inspect the quality of products according to standards
• Absorb and perform machine clean-up, set-up, and other functions associated with job changes
• Use security gear at all times and follow all safety regulations
• Operate machinery or equipment as trained and instructed following safety guidelines at all times
• Absorb and assist in preparing for shift production
• May be required to operate equipment such as hoppers, bagging and sealer machines, forklift, palletizers, hydraulic equipment, powered tractors or vehicles, among others
• Absorb and assist in the preparation of lead operator for shift production
• Absorb and assist in the loading/unloading of trucks
• Maintain, verify and count product inventory
• Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job as needed

Job Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• The ability to follow company production and safety procedures
• The ability to read a limited number of two and three-syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
• The ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide 10's and 100's
• The ability to stand on their feet for extended periods of time
• The ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
