Production Associate MSPD Day Shift

About the role

Cornerstone Building Brands is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products for residential and low-rise non-residential buildings in North America. The Production Associate position is available full-time and operates on the 1st shift from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructions
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure

Pay and Schedule

• Base Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour plus $1.50 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift
• Shift 1st: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday - Friday
• Shift 3rd: 6:00 pm to 6:00 am Monday - Friday
