Production Associate Day Shift
About the role
Cornerstone Building Brands is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products. This position is permanent and full-time, with a shift from Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Friday and Saturday based on business need).
Responsibilities
- Maintains EHS compliance in all production activities.
- Assembles materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished products.
- Attaches appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
- Packs finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
- Tracks production on schedule boards.
- Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
- Places finished goods in designated areas.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Maintains production schedule to meet customer orders.
- Rotates to different workstations as needed.
- Maintains accuracy when reading a tape measure.
- Reads and comprehends floor reports.
- Deals with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
- Ensures attendance and punctuality.
- Demonstrates dependability.
- Performs duties in a way that meets or exceeds quality standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous production experience preferred.
- High School Diploma required.
- Reliable transportation.
- Able to read a tape measure.
- Able to work in non-climate controlled environments.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
