Production Associate - Kansas City
About the role
Georgia-Pacific is hiring Production Associates at its Corrugated facility in Kansas City, MO. The position involves operating equipment to defined standards and product specification targets, monitoring and/or entering computer control systems, troubleshooting equipment, performing basic asset care duties, and operating and/or working around mobile equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment.
- Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment.
- Monitor and/or entry into computer control systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
- Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
Requirements
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, farming, or military environment. Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device. Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry.
Qualifications
Flexible and available to work any shift, including overtime, holidays, and weekends.
Skills

Pay
$23.96 per hour
2nd Shift Differential - three dollars per hour = $26.96
3rd Shift Differential - Two dollars per hour = $25.96
Schedule
Shifts available: 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
