Production Associate

Summary

The primary function of this position is to produce high quality garage door panels per customer order.

Essential Duties

• Operate hand/power tools.
• Knowledge of all models of doors.
• Understand Section Height Charts.
• Properly start-up, run and shut-down machines within the department.
• Properly lift skins and completed sections.
• Move completed orders to the correct locations.
• Absorb and assist in Production and Shipping areas as requested.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
• Maintain a high level of quality to eliminate mistakes.
• Operate with Passion, Energy and Enthusiasm.
• Always remain safety conscious.
• High level of attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• Skilled hand/eye coordination.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to read and interpret job specs.
• Able to perform basic math skills.
• Sound judgment, decision making and problem-solving skills in all situations.
• Able to effectively communicate in English, both orally and written, to ensure a clear understanding of work instructions and safety protocols.
• Have prompt and reliable attendance.
