Production Associate Job

Overview

The position involves performing tasks critical to the safe operation of manufacturing equipment, adhering to company guidelines and customer requirements. The plant operates continuously 24/7, with a 3-month probationary period for new associates.

Shift Example

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm; Overtime 5am-3pm or 7am-5pm
• 3rd Shift: Monday night 9pm-7am Friday (4,10's); Overtime Sunday night start $23.69 an hour for 1st Shift! $24.69 an hour for 3rd Shift!

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 2+ years of prior industrial or warehouse experience preferred
• Prior experience with lean/process improvement preferred
• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in core production roles within 30 days of hire
• Must be able to earn forklift license and maintain competency with driving a forklift
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Must be able to work without direct supervision and have an excellent balance between people and the tasks at hand and ability to work and be attentive to a team environment

Environment & Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, reaching, grabbing, pulling, carrying, going up and down stairs/catwalks
• Dusty environment that is not climate controlled
• Exposure to fiberglass and other dusty materials
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds

Pay

• Starting rate of pay: $22.65 per hour
• Shift differential: $0.50 for 2nd shift, $1.00 for 3rd shift
• Plus a pay for skill system leading to levels 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 4.5, 5, 6
