Production Associate - Intimate Apparel

About the role

Dana-co, a leading New York-based intimate apparel company, seeks a Production Associate to support the execution of production operations. This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys working with data, managing details, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and distribute purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of quantities, pricing, delivery dates, and packing requirements.
• Monitor production timelines and delivery schedules, proactively identifying and escalating potential delays.
• Maintain product, order, and delivery information within the ERP system.
• Support style setup and master data maintenance for new seasonal product launches.
• Track production samples and coordinate reviews with internal teams.
• Review packaging and labeling requirements to ensure compliance with brand standards.
• Process packing lists, shipment documentation, and inventory-related records.
• Assist with production reporting, data analysis, and special projects as assigned.
• Cook up sample requests for marketing, sales, photo shoots, and other cross-functional initiatives.
• Collaborate with production, merchandising, planning, design, and sourcing teams to support business objectives.
• Provide backup support to other members of the production team as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Production Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in apparel production, operations, merchandising support, planning, or a related function.
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
• Experience working with ERP systems; apparel industry software experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with AI-enabled productivity tools and workflow automation is a plus.
