Production Associate I, Balloons - First Shift

About the role
As a member of our team, you will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment where your ideas and contributions are valued. This role involves the manufacturing of precision medical components in a temperature-controlled, clean-room environment. You will operate machines, use hand tools, perform visual inspections, take physical measurements, and package finished products while ensuring conformity to engineering and quality standards. Our medical components may be used in procedures for your loved ones, friends, or even yourself, so we prioritize quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Read, understand, and follow written procedures without deviating from the outlined process after training.
- Work in a controlled environment and operate within our quality management system.
- Operate basic machines, cutters, scissors, air tools, and measurement tools (e.g., rulers, calipers, pin gauges).
- Enter data from manufacturing processes into computer software.
- Adhere to Cleanroom Environment requirements, Good Documentation Practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned and outlined in the full job description.

Requirements
- Dependable with regular and punctual attendance.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, be detail-oriented, and adhere to Nordson’s Safety Policy.
- Ability to sit frequently, stand, walk, and bend.
- Ability to lift items up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to work with small and delicate components requiring a high degree of dexterity and accuracy.
- Direct contact with medical-grade components.
