Responsibilities
- Collaborating closely with other departments and teams
- Having the ability to think on your feet and troubleshoot problems and situations
- Making incremental process adjustments, monitoring and reporting quality of manufactured product
- Performing all duties in support of Sonoco’s quality and safety policies
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to set up new jobs
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area
- Performing all duties as designated by supervisor/manager
- Helping other departments as needed
Requirements
- We expect you to be Sonoco mission-driven
- You have previous experience in packing/warehousing
- You have a “get it done” attitude and an urgency to resolve problems/tasks
- You are willing to work outside of regular shift hours including weekends if production or customer demands require it
- You are reliable, have good initiative, are committed and quality-focused
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You can work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- You can read and understand manufacturing instructions
- You can perform repetitious duties, including stairs and standing for long periods of time
- You can work quickly while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail

4 shifts on, 4 shifts off; rotating shifts
