About the role
The Production Associate I will be responsible for refurbishment and services of medical grade shipping containers. Performs services related activities including refurbishment, cleaning, repairing, kitting, conditioned pack-out, banding, and wrapping pallets in preparation for shipment. Performs general warehouse work that involves incoming material/products, using material moving/handling equipment to store materials in designated areas, and/or retrieving materials/products from warehouse locations to supply production operations or support customer shipment of company products. Ensures daily work schedule is completed and verifies that all paperwork is accurate. Uses manual or electronic inventory systems to record refurbishment and inventory activity. Interacts with various cross-functional groups as required to complete job assignments. Processes and completes paperwork associated with receiving or shipping departments. Sets up shipments with FedEx, UPS, or LTL carriers as needed. Performs additional duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Refurbish, clean, and repair medical grade shipping containers
- Kit, condition, pack-out, band, and wrap pallets for shipment
- Handle incoming materials/products and store them in designated areas
- Retrieve materials/products from warehouse locations for production or customer shipments
- Ensure daily work schedule is completed and paperwork is accurate
- Use manual or electronic inventory systems to record refurbishment and inventory activity
- Interact with cross-functional groups to complete job assignments
- Process and complete paperwork for receiving or shipping departments
- Set up shipments with FedEx, UPS, or LTL carriers
Requirements
- Knowledge of warehouse layout and safe operation of material moving and handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack or electric pallet jack)
- Proficiency with computers and company electronic systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
- Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), and time management skills
- Knowledge of safe warehousing operations
