The cryoICE cryoSPHERE® probe is cleared for temporary ablation of peripheral nerves to block pain in cardiac and thoracic procedures.

About the role

Production Associate I is responsible for assembling small to medium-size components into quality finished medical devices, adhering to ISO and other regulatory requirements. This position includes skillset training in soldering, epoxy application, laser welding, good documentation practices, and more. Under the direct supervision of a production supervisor and guidance from Team Leads, this role ensures the quality of work and compliance with all Quality System requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components required for orders under guidance of team members.
  • Raise issues or concerns regarding components, processes, documentation, and training.
  • Operate equipment and processes according to process specifications.
  • Accurately document time to appropriate manufacturing orders.
  • Follow process specifications and production rules.
  • Perform in-process inspection per process specifications and inspection documentation.
  • Manufacture quality products while maintaining line output and productivity requirements.
  • Assist with packaging and labeling of products per process specifications and drawings.
  • Read and understand work instructions in English.
  • Perform additional company activities as assigned by production supervisor or team leaders.
  • Consistently demonstrate regular and predictable work performance.
  • Work under fast-paced conditions and make decisions using good judgment.
  • Prioritize duties and multitask as required.
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse workforce and adapt to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to handle and assemble small parts.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work using microscopes and other magnifying aids.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions written in English.
  • Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed.
  • Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift over 50 pounds.
  • Ability to use hands to grasp and manipulate small parts in repetitive motion.
  • On-demand overtime to meet production schedule may be required.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Medical Device industry experience.
  • Assembly experience and/or experience in manufacturing.
  • Basic technical skills.
  • Knowledge of cGMP and ISO standards.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Pay

  • 1st shift: $18.00 per hour (Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm).
  • 2nd shift: $18.00 per hour + 10% shift differential (Monday - Friday, 3:15pm - 11:45pm).
  • Pay increase after successful completion of 6-month probationary period.

Schedule

  • 1st shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm.
