Cintas is seeking a Production Associate to support the Rental Division.

About the role

The Garment Hanger/Inspector is responsible for safely and accurately placing customer garments on hangers and for visually inspecting all garments to identify the need for proactive repairing, such as patching holes or tears. This position operates on a performance-based incentive pay structure; meeting or exceeding production standards for hanging garments results in additional compensation incentives, such as higher hourly pay. Garment Hanger/Inspectors are also expected to maintain the cleanliness of their work area.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and accurately place customer garments on hangers.
  • Visually inspect garments to identify and address repair needs (e.g., patching holes or tears).
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
  • Meet or exceed production standards for hanging garments to qualify for additional compensation incentives.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must adhere to the attendance policy.
  • Must be willing to work in close proximity to others for extended periods.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment with time pressures to complete work quickly.

Physical Qualifications

  • Requires standing for most of the shift.
  • Requires repetitive motions, stretching, bending, turning, or reaching.
  • May require pushing carts or bins full of bulk or linen product to prepare for work activities.

How You Will Be Evaluated

Pay

A reasonable estimate of base salary for this role ranges between $16.00 - $17.50 per hour. The range accounts for factors such as skill sets, experience, training, and business needs. Compensation decisions depend on individual circumstances, and it is not typical to be hired at or near the top of the range.
