Production Associate, Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon 3:30p-11pm

Job Description

The Production Associate role is integral to the manufacturing process at Sensaria. This position is responsible for safety, quality, and throughput, performing laborious tasks to produce products efficiently.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Organize and move canvas orders
• Laminating
• Scanning to identify and print labels
• Installing images
• Putting up putty work
• Folding bags and peeling
• Inspecting and packing
• Trimming and cutting
• Sorting poster rolls and packs
• Using measuring devices such as tapes, gauges, and rulers
• Maintaining focus on safety, ensuring adherence to safety policies and PPE standards
• Producing products to a high level of quality
• Working at a consistent pace to meet throughput rates and cycle times
• Communicating concerns, issues, or observations related to safety, quality, or continuous improvement to leads or managers
• Following SOPs and best practices
• Managing timecards and schedules appropriately

Equipment Troubleshooting

• Conduct basic troubleshooting of production equipment
• Work with leads and maintenance technicians on repairs
• Ensure basic maintenance and cleanliness of all production equipment
• Communicate machine downtime to leads and assist with repairs as needed

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and communicate potential process improvements
• Avoid cost savings opportunities (labor and yield)
• Collaborate with Production Manager(s) and Lead(s) on all improvement and cost savings initiatives

Additional Tasks And Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Production Manager(s) or Lead(s) on special projects as needed

Skills, Intellectual Demands And Job Requirements

• Fit for laborious work for up to 12-hour shifts
• Willingness to work on a rotating shift, for long hours and overtime as necessary
• Quality-minded and safety-focused
• Team player capable of working in demanding situations
• Able to lift and carry up to 49 lbs unassisted and 50+ lbs with an assist
• Able to communicate effectively
