Production Associate (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

About the role

This position performs downstream activities required to successfully complete production. Responsibilities include initiating paperwork not generated by the documentation center, verifying components per the appropriate Bill of Materials, setting up, challenging, and verifying label dispensers, checking weighing/measuring devices for current calibration status, and setting up and verifying batch board and seal integrity stations. Some areas require assembling equipment, including operating blending, grinding, and molding machinery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product exposure times and document process flow as required
• Periodically perform all Operator I/Operator II functions
• Pull required processing samples, document, package, and distribute
• Set up and tear down rooms, keeping production area supplies up to date
• Perform all line clearances
• Replace labels on dispensers, take appropriate samples, verify, and troubleshoot label dispenser problems
• Collect, document, and disposition production scrap
• Troubleshoot problems in the finishing area and decide how to correct or who to contact
• Perform facility cleaning as required
• Move production carts into +5 degrees C and freezer areas within required times specified by product specifications
• Maintain attendance in accordance with the RLD Attendance Policy
• Work mandatory overtime based on business needs
• Move pasteurization carts and operate pasteurizer

Requirements

• Must not be allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporin
• Must not be colorblind
• High School Diploma required; equivalent experience preferred
• Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write English
• Visual acuity of 20/25 near vision with or without corrective lenses
• Ability to work independently
• Good interpersonal skills
• Digital literacy
• Basic math skills
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Frequent walking and standing
• Occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching up and out, wrist turning, pinching, and manipulation
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Baxter is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time)

Pay

This position has a salary pay rate of $21.15 per hour. The pay rate is based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
