Production Associate - First Shift

Position: Production Associate - First Shift Flex Team Location: New Albany, OH Department: Metallizing Reports to: Team Lead Shift: First Shift Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm _____________________________________________________________________________ Job Summary This position functions as a flexible resource throughout the Anodizing department to ensure daily production. This team member works in all major production positions as needed in Anodizing; they must be flexible and adaptable to meet the quickly changing needs of the operation. Essential Functions Performs a wide range of job responsibilities in all production areas as neededAuto Operator FlexBox Attendant and Material Handler FlexTake-Off FlexPart-Runner FlexRacker Changer FlexAuto Operator FlexBelt Change Flex Monitors and maintains proper machine operations, clears jams and faults in a safe manner, and supports machine set-ups and changeoversReads and understands job cards, completes data entry activities accurately, records downtime and maintains records as directedChecks and maintains materials at specified levelsMoves finished goods pallets to staging areas and helps Quality weigh and label boxesProvides timely and complete feedback regarding quality or mechanical issuesMaintains a clean work environmentConsistently meets production and quality standards and works with Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) in mindPerforms other duties as assigned to support production needs Qualifications Ability to work at a fast pace, standing or walking most of the shiftAbility to follow standard operating proceduresGood communication, organization and record-keeping skillsBasic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisionAbility to use both hands to pick-up and manipulate small parts simultaneouslyMust be able to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice or on weekendsAbility to lift to 35lbs. as needed and stand or walk an entire shiftCan successfully work in a team environment and willing to take direction from othersUnderstanding of quality control concepts and processes within a manufacturing environmentAbility to function well under pressure Benefits You Can Expect From Anomatic Competitive PayCareer GrowthHealth Coverage Starting Your First Day401K with Company Match, to help save for the futurePaid Time Off to Enjoy Family or HobbiesDailyPay, to get your money fasterTraining, to help hone skillsMany more!
