Production Associate (Cylinder Processor)

About the role

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Production Associate to join their team in Liverpool, NY. This role involves processing medical and industrial gas cylinders, operating a cryogenic liquid filling system, and performing various other duties.

Responsibilities

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures
• Conduct cylinder inspections to determine need for retesting or repairs through visual, physical, and odor tests before filling
• Checks for cylinder quantities, styles and product, and fill any necessary product
• Loads and unloads product from weekly shuttle truck
• Operates and maintains cylinder scales and associated equipment
• Prepares warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment and keys into the computer the quantities, styles and products filled in order to justify the stock inventory
• Completes and maintains quality control documentation as per company and Governmental procedures
• Operates a forklift truck and other plant vehicles
• Completes other duties as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. required. Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 75 pounds. Availability to work overtime is required. One year of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Skills

Must have the ability to read, write, and understand English. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions. Must be able to operate a forklift truck and other plant vehicles.

Pay

$21.63 - $31.73 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Full-time, 1st shift.
