Production Associate - Console Operator

About the role

Cintas is seeking a Production Associate – Console Operator to support the Rental Division. The Console Operator is responsible for directing the flow of garments through an automated sorting system using a computer. This includes coordinating with the shift supervisor and other areas of production on the garments being received from washing, with partners hanging garments, and with partners receiving garments from sorting for route preparation to maintain efficiency of the overall system. Production Associates are expected to meet or exceed a standard for quantity and quality of work.

Responsibilities

• Direct the flow of garments through an automated sorting system using a computer.

• Coordinate with partners hanging garments.
• Coordinate with partners receiving garments from sorting for route preparation.
• Maintain efficiency of the overall sorting system.
• Meet or exceed standards for quantity and quality of work.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Adhere to attendance policy.
• Willing to work in safe proximity to others for extended periods.
• Willing to work in a fast‑paced, schedule‑driven environment with time pressures.
• Willing to learn to use a computer/console to complete work activities.
• Willing to frequently communicate with others to complete work activities.
• Require standing for most of the shift.
• Require physical activity, including lifting or moving materials, during the shift.

Pay

Estimated base salary range: $17.50 – $21.88 per hour.
