About the role
Join our team at Timberlands where you can contribute to sustainable forestry practices and wood products innovation. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Land Management team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable forest management plans
- Monitor and report on forest health and productivity
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
- Manage timber harvesting operations to optimize yield and quality
- Conduct research and analysis to inform best practices in land stewardship
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in forest management or related field
- Knowledge of forest ecology and silviculture practices
- Experience with forest inventory and assessment techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Forest management software proficiency (e.g., ArcGIS)
- Experience with GIS and remote sensing technologies
- Knowledge of sustainable forestry certification programs (e.g., FSC, SFI)

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
