Production Associate

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Move glass from tables, furnace, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours daily.
• Transport materials, including glass, between positions/locations to expedite production.
• Read and attach appropriate labels and tags to product.
• Perform quality inspections, operate equipment, and manually maneuver equipment.
• Understand facility layout to ensure proper product flow.
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis.
• Inspect product for abnormalities and notify supervisor immediately of issues (e.g., fabrication issues, logo placement).
• Use a tape measure to ensure product meets specifications.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Regular and predictable attendance; adherence to all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility (highly preferred).
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure.
• Flexible work availability (typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekends).
• All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production.
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Overhead crane experience a plus.

Pay

$16–$18 per hour.

Schedule

Day shift with start times varying between 7:00 AM. End times vary depending on schedule.
