About the role
The Production Associate – Caser supports manufacturing and production operations by assembling and casing interior and exterior door units according to work orders, production specifications, and quality standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring products are produced accurately, safely, and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assemble door units by installing casing, jambs, headers, and related millwork components according to production specifications
- Read and interpret work orders, labels, and production documentation to identify correct materials and assembly requirements
- Verify door style, swing, hardware, and component specifications before assembly
- Position and secure casing materials using pneumatic tools and production equipment
- Operate casing equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining production standards
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure proper alignment, workmanship, and product quality
- Load completed door units onto carts or staging racks for shipping or further production
- Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process
- Verify product accuracy against work orders and production specifications
- Identify damaged materials, assembly defects, or quality concerns and report them promptly
- Ensure finished products meet company quality standards before staging
- Maintain material flow to support efficient production operations
- Transport completed products to designated staging or shipping areas
- Aid with inventory organization and material replenishment as needed
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow work orders, production instructions, and standardized assembly processes
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to accurately distinguish product labels, order numbers, and specifications
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and pneumatic tools
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, millwork, door production, or construction environments
- Familiarity with interior and exterior door components, jambs, casing, and millwork products
- Experience operating production equipment or pneumatic fastening tools
- Basic knowledge of building materials and woodworking practices
