About the role
Provide an exceptional experience for CertaPro Painters’ customers to dramatically differentiate ourselves from our competition and to further ‘Deliver Extraordinary Experiences’. Fulfill the obligations of the essential functions: Production, Marketing, Quality Assurance, Administration, Safety, and Business Development.
Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional job opportunity for CertaPro Painters’ Job Site Supervisors to differentiate ourselves as the employer of choice in the painting labor workforce.
- Ensure crews produce jobs at or above Gross margin goals.
- Train new and current Job Site crews on Production methods, customer service, and Job Site planning and management.
- Structure and reorganize crews to maximize productivity.
- Ensure Job Site Supervisors are clear on the scope of the job.
- Coordinate Job Site visits with respect to client needs and crew strengths.
- Ensure crews meet or exceed Brand delivery standards (some Saturdays required).
- Review and address customer needs and expectations.
- Build a performance organization while promoting inclusiveness and diversity, fostering a culture where Job Site Supervisors and painters feel valued.
- Facilitate the resolution of customer complaints, client warranty, and workmanship issues in a timely manner.
- Review safety and set-up issues with crews.
- Recruit, hire, train, and provide oversight and development to Job Site Supervisors.
- Conduct training with all Job Site Supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ensure all crews follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines around Lead Safety, and maintain required Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
Requirements
- 2-year degree in a related field (preferred).
- Current driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and valid insurance. Position requires travel to and from job sites as needed.
- Expert in multiple finishes and paint applications.
- Exceptional communication skills with a friendly, positive demeanor.
- High attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Must speak, read, and write English (Spanish speaking skills helpful but not necessary).
- Previous experience in the paint industry preferred but not required.
- Meticulous, clean, detail-oriented, and take pride in your work.
- Ability to work Monday-Friday with some Saturdays and some nights depending on the project.
- Exceptional customer service skills required.
