Job Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Perform assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices or components, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Conduct in-process inspections and accurately record production data and quality checks.
- Identify and report any production issues, equipment malfunctions, or quality deviations to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following good manufacturing practices (GMP) and 5S principles.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and continuously improve processes.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Assist with material handling, including loading and unloading materials, as required.
Job Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar regulated industry, is a plus.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic math skills and ability to perform data entry.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility to work various shifts (e.g., day, evening, night) and weekends as needed.
- Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is desirable.
