Production Associate and Builder

Responsibilities

• Assemble roof and floor trusses using jigs, nail guns, and other tools
• Read and accurately build from engineered blueprints
• Focus on quality, accuracy, and safety
• Collaborate with a driven team to meet production goals
• Insert or position materials, clamp, splice, fit parts by hand and with power tools, and verify dimensions of cut material
• Use a hammer to place metal reinforcement plates over connecting joints
• Perform quality control of assembled items and propose process improvements
• Follow prioritized production lists and use assigned press stations to place and press plates on appropriate lumber
• Fulfill daily machine and area cleanup procedures

Requirements

• Truss, framing, or construction experience required
• Proficiency with tape measures and power tools
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to read and understand simple diagrams, blueprints, and a tape measure
• Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts and lift up to 80 pounds
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Pay

Pay with no experience: $17.50/hr. Pay with roof or floor truss assembly experience is negotiable.
