About the role
This on-site Production Associate position reports to the Production Supervisor in the Consumables department located in DeLand, FL. It offers a leadership opportunity within a team with a more than 75-year history of discovery, determination, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Setup and operate all equipment in a related area to produce complicated components, subassemblies, and final assemblies from blueprints and work instructions.
- Work under the direction of supervisors or more experienced personnel, with little supervision.
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and collect necessary data for use by Engineering.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of production/manufacturing experience.
Physical/Environment Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 10 hours.
- Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and/or schematics.
- Experience utilizing scorecards or other process tracking tools.
