About the role
Your work will contribute to the production of advanced jet engines, components, and integrated systems that power commercial aircraft. Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year manufacturing or accredited Manufacturing Skills course.
- Prior mechanical or shop-related experience.
- Basic shop math with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate fractions and decimals.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use computers.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively.
- Able to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and planning.
- Able to move parts of 50-60 lbs. with the use of lift fixtures.
- Able to work shifts.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Manufacturing, Machining Technology, Composites Manufacturing or equivalent.
- Prior Aircraft Engines or composites operations experience.
- Prior experience with composite hardware layup and machining.
- Prior Lean/Six Sigma training and experience.
