Production Associate - 1st shift - High Speed

About the role

As a Production Associate on the High Speed line, you will perform multiple jobs in rotation, including monitoring the manufacturing process, making boxes, packaging, and palletizing product. You will work in a team environment to manufacture cheese products, meeting production demands in a busy setting with limited supervision. Your contributions will strengthen operations, support continuous improvement, and help deliver high-quality products to consumers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Package finished cheese products, including box making, lining, filling, closing, and palletizing.
• Inspect cheese products, packaging, and boxes for damage; report deficiencies to proper parties.
• Accurately print labels and adhere them to boxes.
• Complete all necessary cleaning and workplace sanitation requirements.
• Record production information using a tablet, scanner, or by hand.
• Attend all required company training.
• Support work in all areas as needed with flexibility.
• Work safely by following all safety processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Prior manufacturing experience, especially in food manufacturing.

Physical Demands

This role requires regular standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 60 pounds. Employees must perform repetitive motions and safely operate equipment while adhering to all safety and quality procedures.

Working Environment

Work is performed in a food manufacturing facility with variable temperatures, including cooler warehouse areas and warmer production zones. The environment includes exposure to moving equipment, moderate to loud noise levels, and requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, hearing protection, gloves, and hairnets.

Pay

$20.50 per hour, with a competitive quarterly bonus scheme for production.

Schedule

Monday – Thursday, 6 am – 4 pm, with overtime as necessary.
