Production Associate - 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Supply and remove materials and product to and from all areas of production.
• Work safely, be production oriented, and educated in food safety defense.
• Dump empty bottles into hoppers.
• Load bottles onto conveyors.
• Remove liner.
• Knock down cartons and stack pallet in a manner to maintain packaging productivity and quality guidelines.
• Assist in the start-up and shut down of production equipment.
• Stack full cases of product off the packaging line onto pallets in a manner to maintain packaging productivity and quality guidelines.
• Load product into cartons.
• Follow all safety standards.
• Document duties as scheduled in the computer based system.
• Complete quality inspections per specifications.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned.
• Follow all written and verbal production instructions and priorities.
• Assist in finding coverage for shift to fill in for absences and vacations.
• Maintain a good working and communication relationship with co-workers, warehouse personnel, the Production Supervisor and Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Effective verbal, listening, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work well with other departments in the company.
• Ability to work off shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.
• Self‑directed.
• Good attendance.
• Knowledge of manufacturing environment and practices.
