Production Associate - 1st Shift

Job Type Full-time Description GENERAL SUMMARY: A production position responsible for supplying and removing materials and product to and from all areas of production. This person should work safely, be production oriented, and educated in the food safety defense. Dump empty bottles into hoppers, load bottles onto conveyors, remove liner, knock down cartons and stack pallet in a manner to maintain packaging productivity and quality guidelines.Assist in the start-up and shut down of production equipment,Stack full cases of product off the packaging line onto pallets in a manner to maintain packaging productivity and quality guidelines.Load product into cartonsFollow all safety standardsDocument duties as scheduled in the computer based systemComplete quality inspections per specificationsPerform cleaning and sanitation duties as assignedFollow all written and verbal production instructions and prioritiesAssist in finding coverage for shift to fill in for absences and vacationsA good working and communication relationship with co-workers, warehouse personnel, the Production Supervisor and ManagerOther duties as assigned. Requirements SCOPE OF JOB FUNCTIONS: High School diploma or equivalent work experienceEffective verbal, listening, written and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to work well with other departments in the company.Ability to work off shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.Self- directedGood attendanceKnowledge of manufacturing environment and practices.
