Production Associate 1st Shift

About the role

Cornwall Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate to join our team. This position is located in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, including heavy lifting or working with your hands.

Responsibilities

• Mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units through repetitive workstation operations
• Support window operations by delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials or windows
• Use hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers as needed
• Carry out verbal and written instructions, read work orders, labels, and schedules
• Inspect, examine, and observe for product defects, make fraction and decimal conversions, operate required equipment, and perform other duties as assigned
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• Authorized to work in the US
• Able to pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Prior experience in manufacturing preferred
• Prior experience reading a tape measure preferred
