Production Associate 1st Shift

About the role

This is a permanent full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay.

Schedule

• 1st shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
• 3rd shift: Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 pm to 7:00 am
• Overtime, including weekends, may be required during peak season

Responsibilities

• Assist mill operators and perform other warehouse duties as assigned
• Follow instructions from mill operators and managers/supervisors
• Safely operate a variety of power tools, including electric and pneumatic
• Band and clear all lines, placing products in outside racks
• Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Assist other departments as needed

Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing/distribution environment
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as an active team member
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• High school diploma or GED

Physical Demands

• Must be able to read, hear, talk, and wear PPE
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively and up to 70 lbs. occasionally
• Must be able to stand, bend, and/or walk approximately 7.5 hours per shift
• Must be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in winter and summer
• Noise level is moderate to loud

Pay

The US base hourly pay range for this full-time position is $16.00 - $17.00 per hour.
