Production Associate 1st Shift

About the role

Position Type: Permanent Shift: 1st Shift Company Description: Cornerstone Building Brands is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products for residential and low-rise non-residential buildings in North America. Headquartered in Cary, N.C., we serve residential and commercial customers across the new construction and Repair & Remodel (R&R) markets.

Responsibilities

- Manual material handling - Packaging - Stacking material - Assisting machine operators - Handling basic powered hand tools - Working safely and effectively to meet deadlines - Working safely and collaboratively within a team environment

Qualifications

- A minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in manufacturing or a comparable work environment - Forklift experience a plus - Overhead crane experience a plus - Company provides in-house training and certification for forklift/overhead crane - General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments - Able to work in a hot environment - Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

Pay and Schedule

- Base Pay: $18.00 per hour - 1st Shift: 5:00 am - 1:30 pm - Overtime opportunities available depending on work orders and seasonal demand
