Production Associate - 1st shift

About the role

Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Production Associate to join our Liquid Egg Processing team in Fort Recovery. All training will be provided for this entry level position.

Job functions

• Loader/Material Handler: Lifting stacks of flats of eggs on to the loader conveyor efficiently. Disposing of inedible product in correct containers when needed.
• Candler: Being able to recognize and remove any dirt's, rotten, blood and leaking eggs.
• Breaker: Being able to recognize and remove any shells or blood in the cups.
• Scanner: Being able to recognize and remove any eggs that could create contamination (dirt's, leaker, blood, rot).

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Pay

• Starting hourly rate: $17.50 with the potential of increasing to $17.70 after 90 days.
• Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance).

Schedule

• Monday through Thursday 6:00am-2:30pm and some Fridays.
