Production Associate – 1st Shift – 4:50am-3:20pm – Mon-Thurs

About the role

The Production Associate, Corrugator is responsible for safely and efficiently performing all tasks related to the Consumables Department. This position reports to the Production Supervisor, is part of the Consumables department located in DeLand, FL, and will be an on-site role.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate all equipment in a related area to produce complicated components, subassemblies, and final assemblies from blueprints and work instructions.
• Work under the direction of supervisors, or more experienced personnel, with little supervision.
• Maintain accurate records, and logs and collect any necessary data for use by Engineering.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or Equivalent
• Minimum two years of production/manufacturing experience

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 10 hours.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs.
• Experience in: Operating corrugating/pleating equipment.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings and/or schematics.
• Utilizing scorecards or other process tracking tools.
