Production Associate 1 - Factory Worker

About the role

Base pay starts at $17.25 per hour with a maximum of $23 per hour. This position is located at 1 Silverline Dr, North Brunswick Township, NJ 08902.

Pay

$17.25–$23 per hour

Schedule

1st Shift: 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

• Operate various hand tools to manually construct window units
• Lift windows onto build tables and roller racks
• Cross-train and rotate on various workstations within line/complex
• Move carts in and out of production work area
• Load window sash components for processing insulated glass units
• Assemble vinyl grids for placement within insulated glass units
• Offload insulated glass units to carts
• Load window units into trucks
• Utilize production reports to assist in production planning
• Perform quality audits and engage in problem-solving to resolve issues
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Handle waste materials
• Lift moderate weight (25 to 50 lbs) continually, including above shoulder height and below the waist

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable environment
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Able to read a tape measure
• Flexible with working overtime and weekends when needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis
