Production Associate-1

Qualifications

High school education or equivalent.

• Ability to read procedure manuals and understand written assembly documents
• Ability to effectively communicate with other team members
• Bright, aggressive, and a self-starter
• Hand dexterity and hand/eye coordination
• Knowledge of related tools and equipment and their usage to ensure acceptable forming and lead lengths

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

• Assemble, inspect, and prepare electrical panels/circuit boards per related documentation and drawings
• Trim and form leaded parts
• Visually inspect and solder touch-up of solder defects
• Hand solder and hand-clean circuit boards as needed
• Repair hardware and/or components on circuit boards due to wave solder machine and/or washing process
• Keep workstation clean at all times
• Properly fill out production documentation
• Package final product

Non-Essential Job Functions

• Move electrical panels/circuit boards, compounds, and materials within cell area
• Overall area clean up
• Push, pull, lift and carry assembly parts up to 40 lbs
• Other duties as assigned by the Cell Team Leader
