Production Associate 1 - 1st Shift M-F (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM )

Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform routine tasks in Product Assembly, bonding, potting, mixing epoxy, installing covers and other plastic/metal components.
  • Read blueprints, diagrams, or established operations practices to assemble and install various probe components.
  • Handle small, delicate parts with a high degree of accuracy to perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly.
  • Follow method sheets to ensure documented and controlled processes are followed to assemble various electronic components.
  • Operate automatic and semi-automatic assembly/production equipment.
  • Perform a variety of electro-mechanical assembly operations by using common hand tools such as: Wire strippers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers and using small hand tools and soldering equipment.
  • Organized, work independently, and able to work in fast paced environments.
  • Able to sit and work under a microscope for extended periods of time.
  • Experience with hand soldering and using a microscope preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods of time and complete tasks using a microscope.
  • The ability to follow both verbal and written instructions along with strong communication skills.
  • Capability to use a computer and enter accurate data. Microsoft Office experience is a plus.
  • Being flexible to changing needs of the business and department and will work overtime as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform precise, hands-on tasks with accuracy and control.
  • Highly organized, self-managed individual who works independently and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Characteristics

  • Good hand eye coordination with usage of a microscope.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

General office/manufacturing environment.
Potential exposure to hazards associated with manufacturing equipment and tools.
