Production Assistant (Student Assistant)

Job Description

University Event & Production Services are currently hiring Production Assistants (Student Employees). Must be a current CCU student enrolled for Fall 2025. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Complete required University training crucial to position.
• Operate auditorium technical systems for rehearsals and events as trained and instructed.
• Interpret and implement stage setup drawings for events.
• Perform maintenance on auditorium technical systems as instructed.
• Cross-train colleagues in all aspects of the position.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a current CCU student (or enrolled for Fall 2025).
• Ability to understand and interpret verbal & written instructions.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in small spaces.
• Variable shift availability, including nights & weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with basic hand tools, staging, lighting, audio, video, & rigging systems preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Training will be provided.
