Production Assistant PVC D Crew

Pay

Hourly rate: $19.00 per hour. Eligible for a $3,000 bonus: $1,500 at 3 months and $1,500 at 6 months.

Schedule

6:45 PM to 7:00 AM on a 2/2/3 rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to accident‑free operations and compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations.
• Assists the department in producing a quality product based on product specifications.
• Monitors and completes quality checks to assure product standards (color, surface, size, etc.) are met prior to packaging.
• Performs placement of pallets and proper packaging techniques for finished material as directed.
• Moves material to designated areas as needed.
• Assists extrusion operator with all machine cleaning functions including saws, tanks, etc. when necessary.
• Communicates daily issues and pertinent information to production assistants, assistant operators, operators, and team leaders as needed.
• Follows all plant safety procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
• Understands and follows all company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Responsible for detailed completion of production operator reports.
• Completes additional quality and production paperwork as necessary.
• Completes and attaches labels according to product specifications.
• Performs housekeeping duties in the production area.
• Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by leadership.

Education

High school graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
