Production Assistant (Printing & Film Operations)

ProAmpac, a leading global flexible packaging company, is seeking detail-oriented, eager, and positive machine operators with a hunger for a fast-paced environment and a desire for continued learning and growth at our Auburn, WA facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist machine operators with production setups and changeovers
• Stage and move materials, rolls, and finished product throughout the production area
• Load and unload materials on printing, slitting, converting, and extrusion equipment
• Monitor product quality and assist with inspections
• Package and label finished materials
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Support operators in maintaining efficient production flow
• Perform other production support tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Ability to work safely around industrial equipment and moving machinery
• Ability to handle large rolls of material and production equipment safely

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing processes
• Strong commitment to prioritizing safety in all work activities
• Strong attention to quality
• Ability to work in a team-based production environment
• Reliable attendance and work ethic
• Willingness to work day or night shift as needed

Pay

Wage Range: $21 DOE + $1.50 night shift differential.

Schedule

• Full Time
• 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on)
• Day and Night shifts available (7a-7p or 7p-7a)
