About the Role

In this role, you will perform assigned tasks and functions in accordance with organizational instructions, established safety procedures, and ISO standards. You will monitor production processes to ensure the final product quality meets customer specifications. You will assign, develop, and direct team members to competently perform tasks in a manner that meets production schedule targets, productivity goals, and product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate all equipment according to company procedures, standards, and work instructions.
• Follow all processing, measuring, packaging, and shipping procedures as directed.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment as directed.
• Complete all computer work and paperwork neatly and correctly as directed.
• Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Comply with all company labor policies.
• Actively participate in company betterment activities.
• Take advantage of opportunities to develop self.
• Perform any other duties as assigned or required.

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Consistently exceeds the expectations of a Cell Lead.
• Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Successfully completed all company training as required.
• Demonstrated examples of leadership ability – capable of influencing others in a confident, positive, and results-oriented manner.
• Strong communications and employee relations skills.
• Ability to pass blueprint reading.
• Knowledge of operating methods and procedures as they relate to their work center.
• Demonstrated ability to perform assigned job functions in a manner that will consistently meet quality requirements and production standards.
• Works safely and keeps work area clear of potential hazards.
• Deals effectively and cooperatively with established policies and procedures.

Work Environment

Safety is our highest priority, and safety procedures/guidelines must always be adhered to. This includes wearing safety gear such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and gloves.

The job is within a non-climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.

Physical Requirements

• Occasional sitting ranging from 0.25 to 2.5 hours per day.
• Continuous standing ranging from 5.5 to 8 hours per day.
• Frequent walking ranging from 2.5 to 5.5 hours per day.
• Frequent reaching ranging from 2.5 to 5.5 hours per day.
• Frequent bending/stooping ranging from 2.5 to 5.5 hours per day.
• Frequent lifting of weights ranging from 0-50 pounds for 2.5 to 5.5 hours per day (will never be required to lift over 50 pounds without assistance).
• Frequent pushing/pulling ranging from 2.5 to 5.5 hours per day.
• Frequent fine manipulation ranging from 2.5 to 5.5 hours per day.
