Astemo Rock Spring, Inc., established in 2000, supplies aluminum knuckles to Honda and Subaru from our Rock Spring, GA facility. Operating on three shifts with 400 employees, we have three main manufacturing departments: Casting, Machining, and Press Assembly. Responsibilities

• General 5S maintenance of the production floor and cleaning of equipment.
• Assistance with cycle counting and stock replenishment.
• Tracking and creating spreadsheets for various activities and analysis.
• Helping with general activities as assigned, working toward overall company goals including:
  • OSHA safety compliance
  • ISO 14001 Environmental Compliance
  • Ethical & Legal compliance
  • Customer Quality
  • Production to Plan
  • Delivery Performance
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices within the facility.
• Champion safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
• Support necessary documents to aid with training for the organization.
• Follow all direction given by the Site Head.
• Use time management skills to organize and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
• Support general production activities.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Forms.
• Use of office equipment such as fax, copier, and calculator.
• Ability to work with others in an open office, team environment.
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective collaboration.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Requirements

• Currently attending high school or a high school diploma.

Physical Demands

This position may require standing, walking, and supporting activities throughout the facility.
