Production Assistant, eCommerce Photo Studio

This is an on-site role in San Francisco, 5 days a week.

About the role

This role serves as a key support partner to the production team, helping ensure the smooth execution of daily photo shoots and studio operations for a leading retail brand. You will work closely with photographers, stylists, merchant teams, and sample coordinators to keep products, schedules, and workflows on track. This is a hands-on support position focused on coordination, communication, and execution.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support photographers, stylists, art directors, and the broader production team during studio shoots
• Coordinate studio sets and assist with shoot preparation and daily operations
• Help manage scheduling logistics, including confirming product arrivals and shoot readiness
• Partner with sample coordinators and merchant teams to track products and ensure samples are available when needed
• Assist with product organization, movement, and workflow throughout the studio
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the production team
• Help identify and resolve day-to-day issues to keep projects moving efficiently
• Support studio processes and workflows to ensure productivity and accuracy

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a retail, ecommerce, studio, or production environment
• eCommerce photography studio experience
• Currently authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa (e.g., H-1B, TN, or O visa)
