About the Role
The WWE Documentaries & Original Content group is seeking a driven and organized Production Assistant with a passion for storytelling to join our award-winning team at WWE HQ in Stamford, CT.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall assistance to Associate Producers and Producers
- Log talent interviews, field shoots, and various media library assets
- Screen and secure footage for specific documentary programs
- Conduct tape research and develop potential content from WWE archives
- Assist in editing and audio production sessions
- Perform non-linear editing of short-form WWE content to support TV and Digital Original Programming
- Occasionally travel to assist field production
- Work is reviewed under supervision for creativity, timeliness, accuracy, and meeting deadlines
- Handle other duties as required
Requirements
- WWE product knowledge preferred but not mandatory
- Production experience strongly preferred
- Ability to perform assigned content requests in a fast-paced, deadline-heavy environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Capable of working both independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to conceptualize ideas in a creative, non-traditional way
- Experience using Avid, Adobe After Effects, and Photoshop a plus
- Able to work long hours, nights, weekends, etc. as needed
- Capable of handling various responsibilities and multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with camera operation a plus
- Bachelor’s degree (Communications, TV/Film Production, or related field of study preferred)
